Pfeiffer wines is a family owned and operated winery, located within historic Rutherglen - a region with a rich wine heritage, spanning over 140 years.

Our historic winery cellars, and our century old Sunday Creek bridge are situated in an idyllic setting on the banks of Sunday Creek, an anabranch of the mighty Murray River.

Visit our cellar door to taste our premium, handcrafted wines of elegance - crisp whites, full-bodied reds and the internationally extolled Muscats and Topaques - luscious, intense fortified wines which are the heritage of the Australian Wine Industry.

Tours of our idyllic property are conducted every Monday and will take visitors through a behind the scenes look at the wine making experience : from the vineyard to production.  Wander amongst the towering river red gums near our Sunday Creek vineyard, learn about the restoration of our historic bridge, share some of our families stories and achievements, taste wine straight from the barrel and learn a few of Jen’s winemaking secrets.

To truly enjoy our idyllic setting, relax in our beautiful grounds with either a Pfeiffer Picnic Hamper or be a participant in Rutherglen’s unique Seasonal Food Foray.  Choose to picnic on our "pfamous" bridge over Sunday Creek, under our century old pine trees or by the childrens play area and leave the rest to us.

Behind the Scenes Winery Tours run every Monday at 2pm at Pfeiffer Wines.  Please book ahead to avoid disappointment. Sensible footwear is required *Duration: 1 hour.  FREE

Picnics
Our delicious Pfeiffer Picnic Hampers are prepared by Easdown House and are available 7 days a week.  24 hours notice is appreciated.  Bookings are made with Pfeiffer Wines on 02 6033 2805.  ($80 for 2 people, includes a complimentary bottle of Pfeiffer table wine, of your choice.)  Hampers are delivered to the winery prior to your arrival and tables are reserved. 

Seasonal Food Foray
The Seasonal Food Foray is catered for by Pickled Sisters.  This new concept matches four different entrée size meals, to four different wines, at four different Rutherglen wineries.  Participants start their journey at Pickled Sisters, where they collect their “tiffin" boxes to be enjoyed at Cofield Wines, Pfeiffer Wines, Stanton & Killeen and Campbell’s.  The Seasonal Food Foray is available 7 days a week and 24 hours notice is required.  Bookings are made with Pickled Sisters on 02 6033 2377.  ($45pp, includes a complimentary glass of wine at each winery)

Cheese Platters
Pfeiffer Cheese Platters ($17) are available every day.  Bookings are not required
