Cowra Wine Show Success

Judging for the 37th Cowra Wine Show has concluded, with almost 1000 wines being put to the test.
Local and smaller vineyards across Australia were pitted against some big names in the industry, and the 2nd generation Rutherglen wine making family, Pfeiffer Wines, came up trumps, taking out three trophies and eight Gold medals at the National Show.
A team of 17 judges from many different wine growing areas of Australia had the huge task of evaluating and assessing the wines, including International wine judge, Jane Skilton MW, from New Zealand.
Chairman of the Cowra Wine Show, Michael Flannery said “the quality of the wines presented continued to improve year on year.”

Jen Pfeiffer was thrilled with the success. “We strive for excellence at Pfeiffer Wines, and to receive this recognition from our industry peers is a great reward for all the hard work of our team”, she said.
